A celebration

of our growing community of vocal improvisers in the UK!

Vocal improvisation opens a world of possibility for musical and interpersonal exploration in a myriad of directions. UK Vocal Improv is a community of vocal improvisation artists and facilitators woven together through a variety of projects, explorations, workshops, performances and cups of tea.

In 2022 and 2023 we offered our first Vocal Improv Festival Retreats- five day residential deep dives near Bristol to celebrate our growing community. These gatherings offered a unique opportunity to experience some of vocal improvisation’s many flavours, such as collaborative vocal improvisation (CVI), circlesinging, body music, embodied movement, live looping, nature connection and play.

In 2024, we are spreading our wings and will be touring the country, offering shorter weekend bursts of vocal improvisation, joy and celebration over the year. Our stops will take us to Southampton (April), London (June) and Leeds (September).
